We will be Learning a guitar solo for “Blue on Black” by Kenny Wayne Shepherd
and Solo’s for “Switch 625” by Def Leppard!
Bring your Guitar or Bass and a small practice amp!!!
Learn how to play and perform the songs with others in the class.
On the 4th session, Wednesday February 22nd, JAM CLASS ROCKS!
You will jam the songs through a Marshall, or Fender amplifier with a live band!
I will provide the audio tracks and sheet music you will need.
Take a video of me playing the songs during the first class so you know exactly what to practice when you get home!
PRACTICE more than you think you should.
MEMORIZE the songs.
DON’T SUCK OUT LOUD!

Bring your guitar and a small practice amp!!!

Amplifiers and Pedals!!
In this class we will find out what makes the electric guitar so flippin’ cool..
I am excited to share with you my experience with electric guitars, amplifiers and effect pedals. I will go in depth about how to get a variety of useful sounds from the guitar, the amplifier and effect pedals. I will give you some tips on how to get a good tone from just the electric guitar using a clean, not distorted tone. Then, it’s time to explore the amp and pedal tones to enhance your sound rather than disguise it. Everyone in the class will get a chance to try the amps and pedals out.. so bring your guitar, and I will bring the amps!
